Success in a vertical system starts with understanding water temperature. While the HydraTower is designed to allow for in-system germination, the "time to sprout" is heavily dictated by your reservoir`s environment.
Our latest guide breaks down the two main speed lanes:
Cooler Water (65°F-75°F): Ideal for leafy greens like Lettuce and Bok Choy.
Warmer Water (75°F+): Essential for Fruiting crops like Tomatoes and Peppers.
Expert tip: If you`re mixing crops, aim for a "sweet spot" of 72°F to keep both sides of the aisle happy and always compare typical germination rates so they keep up with each other!
